How Reels works

Direct creator fees to Instagram accounts

Launch a coin for any Instagram creator. Every trade earns creator fees they can claim by proving their account with a code. 25% of every fee buys back and burns $REELS.

Launch for any creator

Pick an image, tag an Instagram account and launch on Pump.fun (Solana) or Pons (Robinhood Chain). The creator doesn't need to sign up.

Every trade earns fees

The coin's creator fees are routed to Reels on chain at launch, into an account made for that coin alone. Nobody can redirect them.

The creator proves it's them

They get a one-time code and put it in their Instagram bio, or comment it under our pinned post. No passwords, no app to connect.

They claim to their own wallet

SOL fees go to a Solana wallet, ETH fees to an EVM wallet. Payouts go out straight away and show on the Payments page.

Launchers can take a reward of 0 to 10% of a coin's fees, which comes out of the creator's share. Fees stay in the coin's own currency: a Pump.fun coin pays in SOL, a Pons coin pays in ETH.

Claiming, step by step

  1. Open Claim and enter your Instagram username.
  2. Copy your code, like REELS-7K2XQ9. It works for 30 minutes.
  3. Either paste it anywhere in your bio and save, or comment it under our pinned post.
  4. Press Check. Once it's found you're in, and you can remove the code.
  5. Paste your wallet and claim. Minimum 0.01 SOL or 0.0005 ETH.

FAQ

Does the creator need to sign up first?+

No. Anyone can launch a coin for any Instagram account. Fees build up for that account, and the creator claims whenever they want.

How does a creator prove it's them?+

Enter your handle on the Claim page and you get a one-time code. Put it in your Instagram bio, or comment it under our pinned post. We check it, you pick a wallet, and you can remove the code right after.

Where do the fees come from?+

Every buy and sell on Pump.fun or Pons pays a creator fee. That fee is routed to Reels at launch and split: 65% to the creator, 10% to the Reels treasury, 25% buys back and burns $REELS.

Can the launcher take the fees?+

No. The fee recipient is written on chain at launch and points to Reels. The launcher can set a reward of up to 10% of fees, which comes out of the creator's 65%, and nothing more.

Does a coin mean the creator endorses it?+

No. Coins are launched by the community. A verified badge on Reels only means the creator has proven the account and can claim.

Is Reels part of Instagram or Meta?+

No. Reels is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.
