Independent

Reels is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. A coin launched for an Instagram account does not mean that account endorses it.

Launching

Coins are launched by users on third-party launchpads (Pump.fun and Pons). Launching is irreversible. You pay the network and launchpad costs from your own wallet. You must not launch coins that impersonate, harass or mislead.

Fees and claims

Creator fees of coins launched here are routed to Reels and split 65% to the tagged creator (less any launcher reward), 10% to the Reels treasury and 25% to buy back and burn $REELS. A creator claims by proving control of the Instagram account with a one-time code. Claims are paid in the coin's own currency to a wallet the creator enters, and cannot be reversed.

Risk

Memecoins are highly speculative and can lose all value. Nothing on Reels is financial advice. Check the contract address before you trade.

Privacy

We read public Instagram profile information (username, name, picture, follower count and bio) to show creators and to check claim codes. We keep wallet addresses you enter for payouts. We do not ask for Instagram passwords, ever.
